For Roseanne creating as Neshamah Shines is an expression of the intricate dance between the physical breath and the deep self which allows her spirit to shine, through the articulation and interweaving of guided images found in each painting during the creative process.

Roseanne places herself in a very vulnerable position when releasing each of her creations.  And is expecting the viewer to expose their own vulnerabilities in their interpretation of her work from a relaxed standpoint.

Creative juices call in colours and mediums, (mostly inks and acrylics) to inspire a piece of interpretive art.   Evocative shapes and figures hidden within the image, provides power for fresh visions to appear and encourages viewing from different angles and orientations.

Birthing a new artist proof series from the original creation requires a series name, sometimes it comes swiftly, sometimes only after months of consultation with family and friends.  Upon naming, digital imagery starts the creation of an artist proof series.  Each artist proof painting is on artist cotton rag, using archival quality inks.

To bring out its own unique features each painting is individually, and lovingly handcrafted – embellished and highlighted.  No two are identical.  The painting is then hand signed by the Artist.
